ABOUT ELINETT

For over a hundred years, Elinett has ensured a secure, safe and stable power supply to their over 32 000 customers. The delivery of electricity is a critical community service, and they take that job very seriously. Society is now in the midst of the green transition, and here Elinett plays a very important role in the shift to a more sustainable society.
To achieve the goal of a green future, Elinett employs competent people who, with the help of innovation and the use of new technology, solve the challenges that lie ahead. For their customers, a stable electricity supply is a given.

CHALLENGES
- Pen and paper documentation and inspections take a lot of time
- Documentation was incomplete for many equipment types
- Sharing documentation across multiple proprietary platforms was difficult and time consuming
- Physical documentation tended to get misplaced or misfiled, creating extra work
- New regulations required increased control over equipment documentation
- It was unclear wether or not all safety routines were upheld. This was especially critical for personal climbing harnesses
RESULTS
Elinett embarked on a journey to enhance their safety protocols and equipment management processes. Seeking a comprehensive solution, they partnered with Onix.
Elinett recognized the importance of consolidating multiple vendors into a single system. They aimed to streamline their processes and maximize efficiency.
During the purchasing process, Elinett prioritized two key objectives. Firstly, they aimed to integrate as much equipment as possible into Onix Work before their annual inspection. Secondly, they sought to establish a seamless system that would allow them to manage multiple vendors without the need for separate logins.
The collaboration between Elinett and Onix yielded three main positive outcomes:

The ability to monitor and manage equipment, especially in high-risk scenarios like working at heights or in live electrical environments (AUS - Arbeid Under Spenning), helped keep workers safe and demonstrated Elinett's dedication to their colleagues' well-being.
They are also considering expanding the use of Onix to other subsidiaries within their conglomerate, recognizing the value of its features and the potential for further streamlining their operations.
